Orange, plastic tail stripper.
|
Easily holds a dozen fox pelts, or about 15 coons on a hanger. Just a great way to keep your fur up and out of the way after being removed from the stretcher.
|
This is not your average, cheap, metal tail stripper. After being unhappy with the cheap foreign made, stamped out edges that you could also use as a knife to skin with, we took the metal tail stripper to the laser cutter and had them make it right! No sharp edges on this stripper, and you get what you pay for: a tail stripper not a knife to cut your hand. Made in the U.S.A.

This is a handy fur shed tool. Once the tail is started around the base, just lay it into the "V" slot in the tool, give the handle a pull, and the tail is stripped. It's spring loaded for speed.

Beaver Hoops are for those who want to conveniently stretch their beaver hides on metal hoops using the sharp pointed clips (included). Simply, open the hoop and lock in position approximately 2 - 3" larger than you think the stretched hide will be. Using the clips, pierce the very edge of the hide with one end of the clip and then pull it back and hook it over the steel form of the hoop. You continue this until a clip is approximately every inch for the entire circumference of the beaver hide. Beaver hoops allow your hides to dry faster, as the air circulates on both sides of the hide, unlike boards.
**Due to oversize shape, an extra $20 will be charged for shipping**
